On Sunday, October 28th, Weaver Gardens hosted their first ever, Ghostly Garden event.

The day went off without a hitch as colored cob webs covered trees and friendly ghosts hung throughout the yard.

Despite the previous days gloomy forecast, the air was crisp, the sun was shining and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect fall day.

The event, a joint effort by Morano Landscape, Ridgeway Garden Center and of course, Weaver Gardens, drew in nearly 100 people between the hours of 11am & 3pm.

There was even a special visit from Aladdin, Jasmine and Abu!

As an already established business owner in Mamaroneck, White Plains, and West Harrison, Val saw this as the perfect opportunity to encourage knowledge, inspiration, and a sense of community.

The goal was to engage with neighbors, learn more about Larchmont, and showcase all that Weaver Gardens has to offer.

During the event, kids of all ages enjoyed complimentary activities such as  pumpkin painting, face paint, and photo booth fun as well as yummy refreshments like cotton candy, donuts, cookies, popcorn and more.

Assorted succulents, moss, and other supplies were also on display as our experts demonstrated how to create the perfect pumpkin succulent planter.

Our fenced property, just under an acre, included everything from maple trees and festive shrubs to mum plants and gourds of all shapes and sizes.

Guests also spent some time indoors shopping our large variety of potted plants, hanging baskets and home decor.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a Ghostly Garden, and a special shout-out to the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce, Larchmont Friends of the Family and the Mamaroneck/ Larchmont Youth Sports League for helping us spread the word.

If you couldn’t make it Sunday, there's still have plenty of pumpkins and halloween must-haves available.

Next up, we will be hosting an Open House during regular business hours, Saturday 11/17 and Sunday 11/18. Stop by and discover new, creative ways to entice your family and friends with holiday season. From simple earthy arrangements to succulents galore and fresh flowers. We will give you our best demonstrations and be available to help guide and describe how to enhance your Thanksgiving table. You'll also have the option of ordering fresh arrangements for pick up or delivery.
